How to connect to AlterVPN
The full walkthrough: from the free trial to a secure connection. Takes about a minute.
Step 1. Get access
Sign up
Create an account in the AlterVPN Telegram bot or in the web dashboard by email. In Russia the dashboard works even when Telegram is restricted.
Start the free trial
Tap "Start trial". No card needed. You get full server access for the trial period.
Step 2. Install Happ
Download the app
In the dashboard tap "Connect" and pick your platform. A link opens to install Happ from the official store.
Open Happ
Launch the app after install. No sign-up inside Happ is required.
Step 3. Add the key
One-tap import
Go back to the dashboard and tap "Add subscription". The key imports into Happ automatically. Nothing to configure by hand.
If the button did not work
Copy the key in the dashboard and in Happ choose "Add from clipboard". Same result.
Step 4. Connect
Press "Connect"
In Happ press the big connect button. A second later your connection is secure.
Pick a country if needed
If the speed is low, pick another country or server from the list in Happ. Switching is instant.
Good to know
- One key works on several devices within your plan limit (usually up to 10).
- You can renew or change your plan in the dashboard at any time.
- If something does not work, message support right in the bot.
